On December 26th (yes, the day after Christmas), after returning from a week and a half long tour in support of their new album, This Hideous Strength could not rest and went into the production of a video for the track entitled “The Architects of Truth.” Friend and colleague Lee McMullen is working as videographer and editor on the video with band member Jeff Hill functioning as creative supervisor and director. Below are a few pictures of the filming in progress (some are serious, some are candid). This Hideous Strength will hit the road again in January to conquer Tennessee. Enjoy.

It starts out sounding kinda Behemoth-esque, but then it gets all druggy and proggy… and then there’s another song that’s basically awesome neo-grind… and when they do tech-death, they do it in totally the right way… Where the fucking fuck has this band been hiding? (Oh yeah. In Georgia.) This shit kills. Mr. Cooper says that they have a new album called The Great Unimaginer, but I’m not seeing it on their webstore or iTunes. I’m kinda hafta try and track down a copy.”

In early December, This Hideous Strength will be hitting the road to support their debut album, The Great Unimaginer, on Robot Monster, Inc. Touring with Wormwood Prophecy of Jacksonville, Fl., This Hideous Strength will be spreading the sweet love of “space-time continuum disrupting death metal” all over southern Georgia and Florida’s respective faces.
